Quick answer
- Book Road Test Combo when your ICBC appointment is already booked and you need a warm-up plus use of the training car.
- Book an Exam Simulation when you want mock road test feedback before the real appointment.
- Book a Core Session when one specific skill needs work.
- Book a Mastery Session when you need more time for several weak areas.
- If you failed, use the result sheet to decide whether you need targeted practice or a full Exam Simulation.
The wrong booking can waste time. A student who needs a result-sheet fix may not need a road test car yet. A student with a test tomorrow may not need a long theory lesson. Use this guide to choose the right next step.
Road Test Combo
The Road Test Combo is for students who already have an ICBC road test appointment and need a warm-up plus use of the Right of Way training car for the test. It is the appointment-day option.
Best for
Students who are mostly ready, have a booked test, and want a calm warm-up with the vehicle arranged.
Exam Simulation (our mock road test)
The Exam Simulation is a readiness check. It feels close to a real road test because the instructor watches how you drive without coaching every decision, then gives feedback and a practice plan at the end.
Class 7 Exam Simulation
Best for learners preparing for the N test.
Class 5 Exam Simulation
Best for N drivers preparing for full licence readiness or an independent driving audit.
Core Session
A Core Session is best when you know the problem and want focused work. Examples: shoulder checks, parking, speed control, left turns, stop position, or understanding a result sheet.
Mastery Session
A longer Mastery Session is useful when several skills need work or when you want enough time to train, test, correct, and retest the same habits.
Quick decision guide
- Is your ICBC test already booked?
If yes and you need the car, look at Road Test Combo. - Do you need to know if you are ready?
If yes, choose the Class 7 or Class 5 Exam Simulation. - Do you have one clear weak skill?
If yes, choose Core Session. - Do you have several weak areas?
If yes, choose Mastery Session or a package.
If you failed recently
Start with your result sheet. If the feedback is focused, book targeted practice. If the feedback is mixed or you feel nervous about the whole drive, book an Exam Simulation after some practice.
FAQ
Can I book Road Test Combo without an ICBC road test appointment?
The combo is designed around a booked road test. If you do not have a test date yet, an Exam Simulation or lesson usually makes more sense.
Is an Exam Simulation the same as a lesson?
No. A lesson teaches and corrects during the drive. An Exam Simulation is a mock road test. It checks how you drive under test-style pressure, then reviews the result.
What should I book after failing?
Use your result sheet. If one skill caused the problem, book focused practice. If you need a full readiness check, book an Exam Simulation.
